As I noted this morning, it’s too bad that the idea that the best way to avoid a “looming” recession is to counter it with increased government spending has become conventional wisdom for Democrats and Republicans. Makes you wonder where our party went… That said, there is one fine Republican out there fighting the stimulus and giving us a pretty down-to-earth synopsis of why the stimulus package won’t work.
