Although I thought I was done for the week, I just learned of this news:
Fitna, the anti-Koranic Dutch film about which I previously posted below has been pulled with the following explanation:
Following threats to our staff of a very serious nature, and some
ill informed reports from certain corners of the British media that could directly lead to the harm of some of our staff, Liveleak.com has been left with no other choice but to remove Fitna from our servers. This is a sad day for freedom of speech on the net but we have to place the safety and well being of our staff above all else.
In my previous post I wondered, “How the West handles the reaction to this film may well prove instructive as to how much will the West has in the struggle against Islamofascism.” It looks like we’re starting to get out answer.

I think any movies about how Islam is messed up, should come from the people that study the religion and take part in it’s worship daily. I wouldn’t care for a outside source portraying all Christains as backwoods crossburning racists, but one could take that view if they only focused on the radical kkk movement in the USA. Yes, I know that the klan hasn’t flown planes into buildings, but they did carry out terror in their own way years ago.
So I think that religion itself should be critized by the ones who hold those beliefs and know what it is really about.
So what if it’s a screwed up religion, 1000 years from now I bet we’ll be viewed much like we were in the Dark Ages ourself.

Your facts here are just plain wrong. The KKK is not a religious organization. I’m guessing you got that impression from their cross burning but cross burning is actually considered a sacrilege in most Christain denominations.
And even if the KKK was, in some way “Christian” there is nothing in the Gospels that talk about burning crosses and lynching Blacks, Jews, etc. The movie, Fitna explicitly ties acts of Muslim terror to specific calls to such action in the Koran. Jesus never called for the murder of anyone. Mohammed did often.
I think you’d have your eyes opened considerably if you were to check out the works, in columns, articles and books of Robert Spencer who clearly points out why Christianity and Islam are not comparable, re: violence. Also, just do a quick Google on KKK and you’ll see that the history of that organization is not what you think it is.
