If you think the MSM doesn’t know how important Reagan was (and his ability to pull Democrats to his side), then just look at how the MSM keeps trying to perpetuate the myth of Republicans for Obama. I said it once before, I do not care what you call yourself (Republican or conservative or whatever), you are not conservative if you support Obama. I know McCain is not exactly a bastion of conservatism, but Obama could not be a bigger liberal if her tried. If you don’t like McCain,, vote Libertarian. If you vote Obama, you are a liberal, because Obama is a big time bleeding heart.
John Weiler is a Southern California police detective, a Republican, an Air Force veteran and self-described conservative. He is starring in a television commercial in support of Barack Obama.
Top entertainment figures, including Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, selected the ad in a contest run by the liberal group MoveOn.org for the best 30-second pro-Obama television spot.
“I’m a veteran, I served under President Ronald Reagan and under the first President Bush,” Weiler says in the ad. “I’ve been a Republican since before I could actually vote. We need somebody in the White House that is strong. We need somebody who’s gonna represent the left and the right, the Democrat and the Republican, everybody. I’m a lifelong Republican and I’m voting for Barack Obama.”
Yeah, right, dude. Have you been paying attention at all? Obama has no record of bi-partisanship (in fact, he’s been the most liberal of the liberals). His associates are blatantly anti-American, etc.
If anyone wants to pay me to be in an ad for a Republican, that’s cool. I’ll say I’m a lifelong liberal who is pulling the lever for Republicans this November. Apparently, voters like that sort of stuff.

I wonder if Det. Weiler actually solved a crime or is just a bagman on the payroll?
