Just when I thought I’ve heard it all, I heard about this on the radio today on the way to work:
The ANPR, released early this year, would give the EPA the authority to regulate greenhouse gas for not only greenhouse gas from manmade sources like transportation and industry, but also “stationary” sources which would include livestock.
The New York Farm Bureau assigned a price tag to the cost of greenhouse gas regulation by the EPA in a release last month.
“The tax for dairy cows could be $175 per cow, and $87.50 per head of beef cattle. The tax on hogs would upwards of $20 per hog,” the release said. “Any operation with more than 25 dairy cows, 50 beef cattle or 200 hogs would have to obtain permits.”
A livestock tax. Who’d have thought they’d come up with something like this? What’s next, a people tax? I mean, after all, humans emit gas, too (some of us more than others, lol).
You think the price of food is going up now, just wait until these bonehead liberals in Washington really get started. Forget buying meat, you won’t be able to afford it.
Which may be one of their goals, come to think of it. Some liberals would be happy if we all sat around in mud huts eating soy cakes and weaving baskets all day long. Whatever makes the cows happy, I guess.
Sigh…the stupidity of these people knows no bounds, I tell ya’.

[...] Brian is shocked, SHOCKED that the top emitters of bovine excrement want to tax the second-in-line emitters all in the name of Gorebal “Warming” (and the imposition of a vegan lifestyle). They’ll pry my ribeye from my cold, broken steak knife. [...]
