Unbelievable. You know, I could almost spend the next four years chronicling the enormous amount of hypocrisy that comes from the left.

Flashback about four years ago, maybe even eight, and recall how the left went ape-s##t when Bush dared to go on a vacation. Now witness how they defend Obama when it comes to virtually the same thing.

Just for the record, I believe we don’t pay our Presidents enough or properly provide for them after they’ve left office. I don’t care who they are or what party they belong to, they’ve given up any possibility of leading a normal life to serve their country and they deserve everything they get.

I mean, think about it. They work 24/7, there is zero time off (even when they go on “vacation”, they are still working), there’s no privacy at all, they’ve got security around them at all times, etc. Even if they serve two terms and don’t spend a penny of their salary, they only walk away with a little over $3 million. The worst athletes on a pro team make more than that.

There’s a lot of people, I’m sure, who think they’re pampered (they are) and don’t deserve all of this stuff, but I’m not one of them. I don’t care what political party they belong to, either.

I do, however, have a problem when a politician tells us to live one way and then proceeds to live another. For example, Algore telling us to reduce our carbon footprint and all that global-warming horse-hooey and then he buys a mansion that would make Jed Clampett blush. His carbon footprint makes a sasquatch look petite. And he consumes twice as much energy in one month than a regular family uses in one year. Yet we’re the problem!

Then you have the Messiah himself telling us to turn our thermostats down and conserve energy, yet the first thing he does when he gets into the Oval Office is turn up the heat.
