Iowa’s Supreme Court just declared the ban on gay marriage unconstitutional.

Can an amendment to the state constitution be far behind?

Update: I’ve got friends coming in for the weekend, so I really don’t have time to get into commenting on this (other than to say the decision is wrong and we should get the amendment ball rolling ASAP). But you can follow the discussion (such as it is) through Memeorandum’s links.
