So tonight I had a lady in where I work and she starts telling me about her new dog, which was born on Inauguration Day. She named it (I’m not making this up, I swear) “Barack Hussein Obama”. Oh, yeah…she’s a big-time supporter, and she made no bones about it. But it gets better.

She proceeds to tell me that this dog, which is black (a fact she mentioned over and over again, like it matters), is a chihuahua but “looks and acts like a rottweiler” (you know, just like Obama!). She went on and on and on about both the dog and the President, until it finally hit me: Obama supporters aren’t idiots, per se, they’re just bat-s##t crazy.

We’re talking about a dog, here, but the way this lady went on about it, you’d swear IT was going to provide universal healthcare, free education, and pay her mortgage.

To be fair to the dog, though, it’s probably done more for the economy and everything else than Obama has.
